I tinted a miny and a beetle about ten years ago but the film was crap and did not last very long.

i have heard that modern tint is a lot better and easier to apply??

i am after tinting my cherokee, i know i am only aloud a 30% vtl on the front side windows and was thinking about 20% vlt on the rears....

any recomendation greatfully recived...

USE LOTS OF SOAPY WATER!!
Cut a paper template of the window first.
Make sure the glass is clean(wash it with a'lint' free cloth)
Make sure there are no hairs on the glass as these will show up when finished
Use a spray bottle to spray the soapy water over the glass AND the'tint' as you 'peel' the backing off.
Then slide the tint into place,
Then spray a little water over the tint and smooth the water from under the tint working from the middle out.( best done with the door open so as not to fill the car with water)
Use a NEW ice scraper or simalar plastic and smooth the tint carefully.

Hope this helps!!
