Warn 8274 and bumper - what's it worth?
« on: September 05, 2007, 22:57:44 »
Hello folks,

I've just bought a 110 that's fitted with a Warn 8274 winch in a huge bumper as shown below. I'm almost certainly not going to keep them as I really don't have a need, but I have no idea what they might be worth. Can anybody give me a clue?

Not really worth owt,in fact i will do you a favour and take it away for you free of charge(wont even charge you for fuel)

Seriously though,8274s fetch very good money, just because it is an old un dont let anyone tell you its worth less, cos i know people who say the earlier ones(round freewheel knob-like your winch)are better built than the later 8274-50.Plus all the challenge guys will swap the motor and probably fit a gigglepin shaft and albright solenoids anyway

Stick it on Ebay with a good reserve,if it dunt sell let me know

Thanks everyone. I'm probably a few weeks away from doing anything with it as I'm just about to move house, but when I'm ready it'll probably go on here first.
