my vitara has started to play up abit, bear in mind its a 2.0 turbo diesel, will drive fine and then when i have worked the engine hard, like up a long hill or something and it stays at the same speed and sounds abit missfirey, then i let the gas off for abit and then drives fine
sound to me like fuel starvation, so changed filter and still happens
what do ya think guys???
cheers

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

If you tried the air filter try the fuel cap off just in case of a blocked breather, make sure there is no crimped lines underneith. If all that fails then try some diesel cleaner that might help BUT if that fails take it to a diesel specialist for injectors to be tested and the pumpas well. Hope this helps. :)
