RANGE ROVER 2.5 VM DIESEL
GEAR BOX LT77
TRANSFER BOX BORG AND WARNER (VISCOUS COUPLING)

LT77 takes AFT (automatic transmission fluid), though not sure about the borg warner.

most transfer boxes take EP90...but check before putting some in.

these kinda details should be in the haynes manual if someone has one to hand?

ATF in both, or use Difflock Evo in the LT77 but the BW needs ATF. :lol:

Borg-Warner uses ATF.

The Haynes guide has an error in it stating that EP90 goes in a Borg-Warner box.  I pointed this out and they will correct in the next edition if there is one

My copy of the RAVE CD specifies ATF Dexron IID

He's probably the same as me and ran with EP90 for a few years.  I now put ATF in mine

Bingo, I too belived the haynes book of confusion when we first had a RRC, having been spoilt by how good a manul Haynes do for classic Fords :roll:
