Why can't these clubs call themselves by a name that speaks for itself like Mud-Club

Considering that Amor is the Spanish for Love, I think Ada's suggestion makes more sense

hey there

i am a member of porc and the bottom line is just like the web site says, we are an off road club for families,  we go out at least once a month and either site drive or green lane or both, in the evenings we have silly games and stuff like that

we are in avon dasset (just round the corner near banbury)  this weekend, the website has details come and speak to us - giles, matty or lee are the best to speak to...

kids are welcome - with hi vis vest - dogs wifes who ever, we like to keep costs to a minimum, there is a small subscription each year for the clubs insurance etc...  we have a shop, we just want to have fun.

we have a video or two on you tube check that out.

hope to see you aboard

graham

I agree Lee.

In the midlands, we run a 'regional' off road club called CENTRAL OFF ROAD CLUB (kinda speaks for itself) - main focus of the club is off-road or green laning activities; rather than a "caravan club for shineys".

www.centraloffroadclub.com

it's a CORC-ing club (sorry, I couldn't resist the last pun)

hi there

the main reason why the name is different is because we are a national club no set region, as for the other reasons i have no real clue....

look here

http://www.pantsoffroad.co.uk/

there is all you need here....

hope it helps
