Key fob

When I got my Disco it had no alarm fob. I got a blue boarded one form a mate and programmed it (doing the bonnet switch thing as per internet instructions) and it works fine.
Problem is, I only I have one an I'm worried about losing it. I've looked on eBay and they are all red board ones. Will this work? Can I reprogram it myself? Or is there a better place to buy one?
Thanks!
