Anti-roll bars?
« on: September 16, 2007, 09:45:47 »
Anybody know if these were ever fitted as standard to 110's?

My 1987 model has been fitted with a later disk braked rear axle. It's also got a rear ARB (although not a front one). I'm assuming that this is a retrofit but the welding of the mounts on both the chassis and axle look 'factory' :?

It looks like it was also originally fitted with a self-levelling strut, but not any more fortunately :)

I must say that the ride and handling are excellent - at least as good as my previous Discovery :D

Beware MOT, as they are suppose to be fitted if the vehicle had them fitted as factory spec.

But the front mounts are standard on the chassis regardless of fitting to vehicle. That back are usually just bolted on.

The back mounts are defintely welded on on mine (my old Disco was the same and I thought they were all like that). I'm pretty sure that there aren't even any mounts on the front, but I'll have a check again in the daylight
