this is what one of my holiday destinations looked like.

I was helpingrun a National Waterways Festival at St Ives in Cambridgeshire. We were all volunteers and it rained a tad and I spent alot of the days building up to the bank hols and the monday-tues after bank hols towing traders in and out through this goop. Great fun and a bargain at £6 a day :D. Free off roading is always fun!!

This was one of the vehicles I let the tractor tow out!! I managed to tow 6 wheel camper vans, camper vans with trailers, Merc sprinter vans and huge catering trailers on and off site with my BFg at's. Shocked quiet a few people as well!! Great fun.

another location was South Wales where I lead a group of 25 volunteers to rebuild a canal over flow channel around a lock.

Here I am repointing the top wing wall of the lock.

and finished article

Here I am mixing mortar. (same location different people though!!)

also I went to Chesterfield to lead another bunch of volunteers to clear the mud / silt. cans, bikes signs out of a canal guaging chamber.

As you can see I do very different kind of holidays!!!
