No, that's the "Balmoral" - the sister ship to the Waverley, as it was rescued and restored by the organisation that restored the Waverley
The Balmoral was built in 1949 and was the proud flagship of Red Funnel Steamers
Here endeth the history lesson !  :lol:
The Waverley was escort last time the QE2 was up but I don't think it's in the Clyde at the mo
You are right though - a superb old girl and the last sea going paddle steamer in the world

She will be back to the Clyde for the final time in October next year before setting sail for Dubai, where she is to become a floating hotel and restaurant complex
