New(ish) car on the drive
« on: September 24, 2007, 14:43:33 »
Hi,

Due to Hubby getting a new job, he will need to use his car for commuting to work, which meant that i had to get a new car, as i cannot afford to run the disco as my everyday car.

So, after looking long and hard at a fair few cars and whinging about the cost of a decent car, good ol' dad came to the rescue and upped my spending power by matching my budget with an injection of cash.

So....i have gone out and bought Pugsley, a peugeot 407 diesel sports wagon - anybody would think we like peugeots - wot with himself driving a 406!

I went to one garage with the intention of trading in the disco to get a better car and then later buying a £1000 runaroud, but due to the garage offering me £1000 for the disco - guess what is referred to as the £1000 runaround!  needless to say i did not buy a car from that garage.

Now we are a 3 car family and the disco has had to go and live with the caravan as we can just squeeze 3 cars on the drive but it was touch and go as to which one was going to get scraped first.

regards
