i know, i tried doing all 3 but it said i was over limit !!

i've got a A bar with built in sump guard so i'll fit that and if no good, sell it for an alloy steering guard 8)

i think i'll end up doing that anyway

Looking better, got to agree about the steering guard you can see how vulnerable everything is now and looking at how bent my guard is I think I could have been in trouble without it.

I'd agree on the steering guard too.  When I took mine off my Disco looked a bit like Gail of Coronation Street...
1995 Discovery 300 Tdi...steering guard, diff guards, +2" full lift kit/ProComp 9000s, extended braided brake hoses, 265/75/16 MTs on Freestyles, Camel Cut, Team ME4 CB, Southdown snorkel, Defender A-bar and Wipac 4x4s, Forte treatment in anything that moves and a shiny new boot floor!

Yes the bumper is standard and the "jate rings" are simply chunky circular headed bolts filling the mounting holes in the bumper where the number plate plinth used to sit. I would not put any weight on them!
