DIY breather kit...can't find the post!
« on: September 28, 2007, 18:31:35 »
Someone, somewhere, on some forum came out with a cracking picture and kit list of what you need to make a good DIY extended breather kit...however I cannot find it anywhere.

If I remember rightly ithad pictures of the pipe, the unions, and all the other bits you need.

Can anyone remember where it was?

I bought wizards kit for my last one and it was damn good.  Having said that I am always interested in a DIY route if you find the thread!

Super job, thanks guys.

I have a feeling I have shorter breathers already on both axles, so presumably I just need the elbows and pipe for the boxes and timing case...I can presumably use teh existing axles fittings with longer hoses?

Ian you can, just make sure the existing breathers aing clogged with road crud. Wizards kit includes new axle breathers that screw straight in.
