suspected oil leak

hi all does anyone have any ideas on a leak it seems to be coming from the front passenger side the patch seems oily but is very clear if any one has any ideas please let me know thanks mat

It would be helpful if you could be more specific, take a look at the underside of the vehicle and around the engine bay, axle etc. looking for oily areas for a source as there are a fair few potential sources of leaks on a LR.

Long shot but its not aircon condensation leak off is it?  

Just with you saying it was oily but quite clear...

i thought the air con would be just water but it smells oily sum of the pipes of the power steering bottle look oily

What age Disco is it..... that'll give us a clue as to what there is that can leak......
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

PAS fluid? I know Serenity ocasionally drips it from that area.

Get under and look and remeber a drip might not be in the location of a leak. Rabbit used to routinely spray what I thought was gearbox oil all over the shope. Was actually engine oil from a rooted head gasket running along the top of the box.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
