Hi all

My youngest lad came up to me just now with his new toy (a little ford focus rally car ) and said why don't you put rally stickers on your car dad .

I was about to fob him off when I had a thought   (I don't have them often so stay with me   ) Could we not get white squares made with the club web address along the top and our joining numbers  big in the middle motor sport door number style then people would spot them at events or on the road (and possibly spot them for a hobby #-o) They could be made sticky or magnetic or maybe reversed and reusable for putting on the inside of windows so they can be removed for family/work cars . Tell us what you think. :D

Its just an idea  if it has come up before and been panned forgive me and I will crawl back under-me rock. :D

he can make mine.  :D

It will have the MC url on it and my membership number in the middle.

Just thought.......

Put an upside down www.mud-club.com under your number and it would still look right if you ended up upside down.

My number 66 wouldn't quite work.

maybe the sticker could be made with the infamous splat in the background and have the number emblazoned in front of it?

I always understood that driving on the road with 'Competition Number's displayed was' frowned upon', that's why you see Comp Safari, CCV & RTV motors with black tape crosses over the number.

Imay be wrong........

You can get magnetic plastic signs, how cost affected this would be not sure, failing that I've some stickers in the rear quater windows on mine which are removable and can be applied as many times as you like.

The main reason you see motors with tape across the numbers is because they are entered in an event where the number is not valid.  (But the event number is valid for something else, or they just didn't want to remove it)

I don't know of any restriction on having them on the vehicle.  I've certainly never had a problem.

Magnetic stuff is available but it's expensive (and it won't work on a 90 ;-) )

If you want something removable for inside, print it out and laminate it, you can put it inside the window then.

Cost depends on the size people are after... what are we thinking ?  A5, A4... bigger, smaller ?
