in the patrol we use a truck air horn which uses a compresser really loud (can feel the car vibrate when pressed)

needs a bit of messing to fit but its great when finished

Thats the way I'm going, got a tank, then the right sort of valve to find and it'll be LOUD. Twin truck/boat horn, tried it on 3 bar's of Nitrogen and was pretty loud, 4 bar and even with ear defenders it was too loud to sound for more than a second or two....Normal air horn compressors just won't make enough pressure so I'm looking for a high pressure one, but for the moment CO2 cylinders (out of date extingushers) may have to surfice ;-)

in th patrol we have a small gas bottle under the bonnet with about 120 psi in . . . its a suprise it got frew th mot if u look at it

a butane bottle next to th exhaust :)

60-70 cm chrome truck horn n a 2 tone train horn under the car  8)

Please tell me you are taking the <edit> about the butane bottle under the bonnet :?

Mate of mine back in calgary works for Canadian Pacific... Well you know where this is going... :)

Need to sort out a gas supply but nothing gives that pant wetting feeling of impending doom like a US train horn.

Rabbit had full 2-tones and Bullhorn
then all but one of the twotone modes dies and then about a month ago I hit the switch and it went Click ERRRRrrrrrRRREEEEEEeeeeee.......weweweweeeeeeee CLICk

Hasnt worked since. Even after I got all the bud out
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I'd really love that Kong thing - particularly for the biker who overtook me in Betws-y-Coed the other day while I was holding back for somebody coming the other way - but by the time you've added the cost of a compressor and on-board tank, it'd be a bit pricey  :(

Just went to check out the horn and I can't actually find it!  I'm sure if I dismantle the plastic coverings it'll be there somewhere but any quick pointers?    In AndyC's it was very obvious, by the ABS block, but mine sounds like it's coming from the rad area somewhere.  Just not sure which side.  Disco TD5 Manual.  Thank you
