concerned about my PTO

i recently got a 110 and it is fitted with a PTO winch. my concern is thet the PTO hangs a bit below the chassis rails :?

has anyone had any problems with this whilst offroading and if so how have you over come this problem?

im asking as im heading for spot of offroading on sunday and dont whant to brake it.

I had one of these for a few years and never had any trouble with it... It does hang down a fair bit, but they seem to be built well and it took some punishment!

I think i actually rounded the bottom of the casing from scraping over rocks!

thats good news :D  think i will risk it for the weekend then :D

but long term i think i will fab up a bash plate/ guard, anyone got any pics of any for ideas :lol:
