Went for a test drive Sat in Disco 3.

Still unsure about the backend. I drove the tdv6, fantasic engine, quite pulled well, I think I supprised the guy behind in the bmw trying to overtake

Inside great, drives well, all the twiddly bits you could want - shame about the back.

Just need to find the £37K now to buy the SE

Go for it - you can't see the backend when your driving it, and anything that can cut up BMW's has to be worth it just to remind them they don't actually own the road, are not more important than everyone else and have to follow the rules as well. Grrrrr....

I had a test drive on Saturday as well, a manual TDV6 SE.  Very impressed with it.  But I would like to try the auto.  Did you try the auto?
If so what was it like?

I drove the manual also, I would like to try the auto for comparison.

My son want me to buy two.

I think I should start doing the lottery

They have good residual values at around 53% after 3 years with 12,000 iles, which should be good.

Tempted. ...

We followed one the other day. I can't believe how low the spare wheel sits while on the road. Looks a prime target for most speed bumps round here.
Wouldn't say no though.

Seen quite a few on the roads round here now, my LR dealer says it has proved popular selling wise.

Love the front end, although looks very similar to the RR, if I had the option, which I don't think I'd go for the model down, the model before the new one.

Do you mean that I might have to redline the Isuzu to overtake one in the future?
