No. As the Perkins is a big heavy lump, they're using them to help give it a reasonable ride-height & keep it off the bump-stops

The only ones I'm aware of are ex-camel trophy cars, the springs were made by Carmicheal.

Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

ON THE BUILDING OF THE 6X4 PICK UP FOR A TACR IT HAD DOUBLE SPRINGS ON BOTH REAR AXLES. BUT I DOUBT IF THEY WOULD FIT THE FRONTS AS THERE WRER EXTRA SLOT IN PLATES TOP AND BOTTOM TO LOCATE THEM AND ON THE FRONT THE SHOCK WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COME THROUGH
THANKS FAMOUS

Depends on the set up... are there 2 springs and a damper, or is it a coil-over damper (with the spring mounted on it)  ?

A Range Rover I just broke had coil-overs on the front so it looked like there were 2 sets...
