SRS Light

Help. The SRS light on the dash wont go out does any one know how to get it to go out, its a 1999 1.8Xi SW

I suspect you will have to get it reset by a garage. Might even need to be a main dealer.

thanks will give them a call on monday, not too keen on my local dealer, that are not too helpful unless you have a new car from them, they are a bit snooty

Try around a few independant garages too. Some will have the necessary kit to check and reset it.

I found a local guy who sorted it out in about 20 minutes, and only charged me £30. What a difference in attitude to the main dealer, they were so helpful, they also told me that they were getting people coming to have the newer models serviced ther as the main dealer was so unhelpful. Another point for the little guys against the suits
