Address Bar
« on: November 02, 2007, 23:56:07 »
Just lost the 'Address Bar'  & can't get it back

I've tried via the 'View' - 'Toolbars' & it's ticked, but won't display

Am I missing something obvious??

I'm writing this on SWMBO's 'Think-Pad', as my own PC had gone 'mammaries upwards' again   (& won't open Internet Explorer, or almost anything bar 'My Pictures' from the Start icon)

Thankyou Helen, does Johnty know you've offered his (invaluble) help again??

SWMBO has suggested my buying a new one though (Lap-Top)

The last time it happened Johnty suggested a new hard-drive... I suppose it'll be cheaper than buying a new Lap-Top

If I only need a hard-drive, iit'd also mean I can press her for that new 'cross bike as well

I'll discuss it with you/Johnty shortly, if that's okay?

Sorry for the delay in replying Richard. Yes Johnty does know I offered his help, I told him when I posted   Feel free to contact either of us (I think you have Johnty's new phone number) and we can arrange something with you.

Thankyou Helen

I have no wish to impose on you though, especially when you have  Johnty up to his armpits in the kitchen floor

But, I'll be in touch shortly, thanks again :D

Edit@ 13:53
I've got your home number, your mobile, & I've got one for Johnty too.
I'm not sure if it's current - you gave me it at the time of the PCs last meltdown
