Oh, it's an addition to the 'fleet' !!!!
Would never sell the 90 !!!

Will get some pics up soon..
Well it's on an M plate, and I paid £400
(it was advertised for a considerably larger amount)!!!!
It was rude not to buy it..
So, i'm gonna put a floor in, get an MOT, tax it and run it as a 'hack'!!!
Though the Mrs seems to have already commented on the space for shopping

dont worry about not finding much rust... there will be more!!

inner wings, rear x member, front body mounts, top of door pillars, ust below the gutter....

although for the money, you cant complain at all really!

engine and box alone will level your wallet back (via ebay) i would have thought!

...make sure the logbook gets sent off!! (see my post in the bar)

I managed to buy a new Discovery Commercial (for work alledgedly.....not because it was pretty).... and withstood the glaring looks, huffing & puffing for five months before she MADE me sell the Black Disco...... mind you... when ever SWMBO goes ANYWHERE... she takes the Commercial.......

Yep, after Steve Marlow spending 000's of hours on rebuilding it, two Morrocco trips with LROAC it sat in the yard for about 9 months being unloved... I spotted it and made Ray an offer he didnt refuse.. now its back in service and back in the mud!!

There's nothing like a bargain to put a smile on your face is there.  :D

I got this Disco back in July:

Also an MOT failure and a PX with a local garage. It's a 3.9 V8 ES with 80k on the clock and full service history upto 73k. Paid £950 for it.
All it needed was new discs and pads all round, front calipers (I had one in the garage already  ) a bit of electrical work and a patch on the passenger side inner wing. One MOT passed!!  :D

Since then I've got a new set of springs and Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks fitted (£60 off Ebay!) and rear bumper and lights as the old one had opened a few too many gates. The rear bumper was the original off my other Disco that I removed to put the Discoparts H/D one on.

The hardest job so far has been getting the smell of dog out of the carpet!!

Thanks for the bumper offer.... got one now cheers.
Thats a tidy tub above, shame about the dog smell, this oneI bought has come from a smoker....yak

Update wise.... It's now on ramps.........yep, that's all I've done..
I spend too much time riding my bike and out on the lanes...
I will get inspired soon to get it done, I thought of bobbing it...
But I once started bobbing a Rangey, and it eventually came out a full ARC spec 80 inch trialler with a 66 Jag auto in her !!
Now where's my grinder
