Ok im ready to fit my cb radio in the vit.I would like it where it isnt to visible from the outside.

So where has everybody mounted the cb and aerial in a vit..

Ok ive got the cb mounted,just need to get my mag mount and wire the rig in..

Hey Gav you know where you have put your CB ..well thats my water level after wading  :lol:  :lol:  Whats your handle there good bud ..not many folks use them now ..I chat to a few local farmers ,,but there good for tagging when off roading  :D  Ohh you might guess im mud chucker ..10 10 im back in me den ...

Mick thats what i thought when i got it all fitted damm water ah well we shall see :lol: ,

Ive got it all wired in now got the swr down to 1.2 im happy at that..

As for a handle well i'll be using Lincs Zuki now..

I will give you a call if im passing your end.

Aha might have to get you to test my swr for me Gav  :D
 
I think it said self swar though ...I went for the team ME-4 with Thunderpole orbitor ....im trying to keep everthing as high as pos out the way of water ,,,I was going to move the C P U and fuse box but the wiring looks a bit tight ,,or sandwich in watertight box from Maplin ,,all good fun  :wink:

I'll check your swr for you no prob's :D

Good cb the team ME-4 wont have any probs with that :D

I had thought about moving anything important up a bit higher,Would be easier in a water proof box though,Like you say the wiring look's tight.
