Radio Code - Not requested ???
« on: November 06, 2007, 17:06:09 »
I disconnected the battery on Monday to recharge it, only when I connected it back up and turned the radio (R990 unit) back on it DIDN'T ask for the code?? which I know I set and activated earlier this year.

Any ideas why this might be?

I can only assume that your request to activate the code wasn't accepted or it was already activated and you request de-activated it!

Mine is fairly random - sometime Piglet asks for the code .. other times he doesn't. Live with it ;-)

mine always asks for the code even when turning igtion on to start engine. even puts a cd onto pause if I am lucky. Manaul doesnt mention a pause mode for cd's!! Also I cant manual tune my radio!! All I can do is get classic fm or plug my phone in and use the radio on my phone via the radio cassette!

Permanent 12V feed is missing. Check your wiring and fuses.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I think they all do that, mine does.

I think there's also a code disable that you can do for the likes of charging the battery, that's been activated?
