Fourtrak problem...prob a simple answer to this but...
« on: November 10, 2007, 09:00:18 »
Hi all,

I have recently purchased at Fourtrak with my mate and I'm having a little bit of probs with the electrics.

she seemed fine driving her home but when I left her over night the battery was dead when I went to start her the next morning. Have given the battery a charge last night but when I took her for a drive today the Charge light on the dash keeps flashing.

Is it worth getting a new battery or is this an alternator prob? Or is it both?

Also does anyone in the northampton area no a good place to get one of which ever it is I need.

And a quick side not... is the alternator easy to replace? Anything I should look out for when I'm doing it?

Thanks,

Simon
Regards,

Simon

First step i would do is get a volt meter and check battery and alternator to see if its charging, if its not you know its the alternator, if thats all fine it could be your battery.
