With a gearbox additive?
5th in the missus' Vitara is noisy. Before I think about changing the gearbox I just thought id find out if anyone has had any measure of success using any sort of gearbox additive ?

Can you actually buy an addtive to quiten things down abit???
Perhap's flushing the Gbox through with fresh oil a few time's might work..

get some molyslip, works a treat, can be used in all gboxes and tboxes and diffs apart from lsds, its good stuff 8)

i once mixed a little sawdust in with the oil and sold the car no probs...lol...but make sure whoever you sell it to is smaller than you and not particularly violent!
