Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response Group
« on: November 21, 2007, 11:06:39 »
I have set up a Hants and Berks 4x4 Response Group to operate under the National 4x4 Response Network (such as Humber - Yorks 4x4 Response and BORG).

I am not plugging it on here, but I would like to make people aware that we do exist and are actively looking for members. If you would like more information, please email me at hampshire4x4response@hotmail.co.uk.

We are not operational yet, but the more members we have, the less time it will take us to get operational as the work involved is shared. I am looking for people to join the commitee and take up the relevant posts as well.

As I said, email me at hampshire4x4response@hotmail.co.uk for more information.

Thanks for reading.

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

..... what is a 'reponce' ?

A 'ponce' is someone who used to have a financial interest in certain ladies of nocturnal working habits, but got 'nicked' by the 'Filth' after they 'spun his drum with a paper key and checked his skys for a bit of tom', did some 'bird' in 'chokey', and started up in business after his 'time inside', hence he would now be a 'reponce' if you catch my drift, nods as good as a wink!

In addition to that crap attempt at humour/murdering of the English language, I would also be interested.

Arrrghhhhhhhh.

I can't keep up.

Ok, for the benefit of all interested parties, I have got the details you emailed me and will be replying.

I have confirmed the details for the planned December meet with the veneue and they are as follows:

Saturday 8th December 2007 at 6pm

at

The Ship Inn,

4 Wales Street, Winchester, SO23 0ET.

Directions:

Come off the M3 at Junction 9, and take the exit signposted as Winnal Trading Estate or Winnal Industrial Estate.

Follow this road along and you will go through down a hill and through an s-turn where the road is paved. You will go past a pub on the right called the First In, Last out. The Ship is just past this on the right, just before a sharp right hand bend. Its painted bright yellow, you can't miss it!

I will be there from about 1730 onwards. If needed, my mobile number is 0772 508 5775 if anyone gets lost or breaks down.

This meet is a chance to get to meet everyone who has volunteered to join Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response Group and put forward any ideas you have, volunteer for a job or position, give me any feedback on the forums, check your membership details are correct and a chance for a pint of beer!

I hope to see as many of you there as possible. If this date is a problem for anyone, can they please let me know either by email or give me a bell on 0772 508 5775.
