Must admit i thought the same a bit too much blame on women men are worse for sure.Yes i am a bloke but big enough to admit that most women are much more careful than men.Blokes tend too spend more time ogling women drivers than men so they are not getting the wider picture.I also think that winches should be banned on any vehicle used on the road, afterall your hardly gonna use it there are you. How often on here do you see modded up trucks parked on the drive on a housing estate. One more thing if you had laughed at me i would have stuck you very shiney probably unused up your rear end.
Statistically I think women still have more accidents than men, but it makes good advertising policy to tell women they are getting the cheaper deals What mucks it up for us is the under 25s who are having all the bad accidents.Women are the ones who reverse into you, run into the back of you on a roundabout, that kind of stuff.Whereas if a lad has an accident, it'll be rubber side up in a field somewhere, possibly with the air ambulance in attandance.
Oh proper rant thread :)I did read in one mag that the police records showed that LR's were the safest vehicle to be in simply because they had less accidents than any other vehicle (I'll try to find it) probably because we are higher up and more aware of the world around us, also they aren't generally lusted after by teenagers like Saxo/106 etc. I don't think that limiting cars to very small engines is going to make a difference as it already happens. Insurance for anything over a 1.1 is over a thousand for most kids.

They drive too close and are invariably on their mobile phones.I think there are good and bad in each group - but basically men like to show off and don't like to admit weakness.

How about this lady yesterday, stopped on medium sized roundabout to answer her phone.
