Been given this winch today.

 1.The motor does not work since going under water.

2. Free spool does not work.

3. Can you get parts can't see the model number it just says 12000 LBS

I'd say you paif a fair price for it then :wink:

TBH it's probably as cheap to e-bay that one to someone who just wants to look like they off-road and spend the money on a cheapo import (which that one probably is) with some sort of guarantee.

looks like a Tmax style winch,
 i would get it stripped down & see whats up,
motor might just have stuck brushes due to crap inside & also the free spool will more than likely be rusted in place

A lot of winches are very similar in external design now, it looks very similar to one of these

Chinese import i'd say,my mate had one from new,packed up soon after,sent it back and after some words it was repaired only by robbing a motor off another one,save your money and buy a proper name.Don't forget alot of the import winches are not for self recovery.

I've got one like that in my garage, there's a reason it's not on the truck..... they're crap!!

If you need a winch, buy a decent one...................
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!
