Seen both 100 x 50 and 120 x 60 used you takes your choice so it seems.

I have some 120 x 60 tube on order via my cheap steel supplier (work)

Hi dad.
is your 'cheap' steel any good for making tubular bumpers out of? Think rusty would look lovely with a pair!!!! Better than the crap ones with the split plastic where I may have brushed the rocks at winton ford!!

Oh [!Expletive Deleted!] forgot you were on here too !!!!!

Good morning darling daughter, I will talk to my supplier to get some tube cos that would look nicer than a bit of square box, Probably 3 inch diameter would be good ! Could put it on the bender as well So thats three front bumpers and three back ones ! Going to be busy I think.

I have got the mega heavy box one lying in the garage though just right for Sainsbury's car park

am I going to need a weighbridge to reclassify my vehicle as a hgv!!!
no hurry for bumpers anyway cos not sure when I can get up to you again. definately not til after chrimble!
just use your white one as a template!!
still fiddling about with the veg oil thing. I'm about to start a proper scientific experiment regarding ratios and moving onto the potential damage to fuel lines! keep you posted!

Made my rear bumper from 3" dia pipe, looks the part!! start on thr front soon.
As for veg oil, just put it in and drive, 50/50 with taxed stuff when it gets cold!
Our local Somerfields today had 1 litre bottles of sunflower for £1.03, it will soon be cheaper to cook chips with diesel,
