Tommo ive got a series 3 with v8 and a range rover with 350 chevy ( overfinch conversion) both these are very cappaple off road as is the jk if you look at the american jk sites you will see the jk are very capable off road as well. The reason for the jk is the value for money and ive only ever seen one other on the road and the can be kitted out with soft tops half doors ect look at quadratec.com.
