Bad Accident on A1

Just been up north to collect my Nato Hitch that i won on ebay cause im too tight to pay for postage..
The A1 is closed southbound just south of RAF wittering.
There was a lot of military vehicles invloved..
The main issue was one of the 8 wheeled trucks with a massive tow arm on the back, like the ones they recover artics with, on its side sat on top of the barrier, and 4 wheeled crew carrier (like the ones you see in convoy with wolfs) that had the front caved in.
It looked hurrendos.
I hope everyone was ok, but I have a horrible feeling about this.

Looks promising.
If only one man was treated for slight injuries they were very very lucky..

The A1 around leeming bar seems to be horrendous at the moment.. i had the delight of watching the sun rise over gridlock monday morning, i set off southbound at 5.30AM, for our company safety seminar....needless to say i was 1hr and a half late... guess what the main subect was - the risks beyond work, the travelling to and from work, and the number of company vehicles envolved in accidents!
northbound is/was shut from leeming bar due to re-surfising works, and quite frankly, i`m would urge anyone planning on using that stretch in the near future to pick an alternative route...
you would think the main road link between the north east and the rest of the world would be better than this....

You should see it near us, 3 roundabouts in a row in utter chaos. The on enear Worksop is nearing completion thank heavens but Blyth is a joke.
All this at the same time as the M1 is being widened (ironically it's down to 2 lanes) and the Parkway into Sheffield is being rebuilt. Og and the a 6 somehting or other from the M1 to Whiston (if you know it),
Basically I can't go into Sheffield without sitting in roadworks.
