My mate is after a red/yellow top battery to go in his cadillac low rider! Where do you all get yours from and for how much?

I think Paddocks are about the cheapest at the moment.

If it's for ICE, he'll need a yellow top.

Like all things with metal in them, the prices are about to rocket so get in quick. We used to pay £14 trade for a classic Mini battery..... it's just shot up to £35

Cheers I'll let him know.

I think its just for getting the car started.

He recons he's then gonna need 26 batteries in the boot to power the hydraulic suspension!

He'll need some serious hydraulics to lift that lot alone

There are other brands on the market that, in my opinion are better than Optima.
Odyssey is a better bet.
Each battery is like a red/yellow top in one unit.
There are some large, very powerful ones avalible too
He might only need two in the boot, rather than 26

Those are the battery's used on Challenger tanks (so i've been told)

I use a red top Optima. Never had a problem with it.
On another note, any chance of a pic, love American motors.
