I use RAC & am a member of the camping & caravaning club which means I get 15% discount on RAC & free trailer breakdown cover too.  8)
Did everyone see that?  Because I will NOT be doing it again!

loads of opinions in http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=52529 and http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=42988 and I'm sure more could be found with careful choice of search terms.

Personally, if I have need of one I'll use the AA, not because they are possibly better than others, it's just I can't really say no at the price. Free for full cover.

Caravan club's Mayday rescue, by Green flag.

The only one that will recover a caravan as big as mine, they cover me for trailer breakdown which most don't and my cover will rescue me to my destination, then if I can't get it fixed recover me home agian (second journey).

We have a platinum account with Lloyds TSB which gives us joint AA cover! Yes we pay a service charge on the account every month, but we don't have to pay for card insurance, AA cover, Yearly holiday insurance etc etc etc so what we pay is a lot less than what we would if we had these individually :D

Any time I've called them they have been very quick and efficient

Got cover from a company called GEM... they call the recovery truck, you pay the driver, and claim it back.  They're pretty quick paying up, and it's about half the price of the "normal" recovery service.

Not an option for everyone, but worth it for me, and have been pretty good when we used them.
