Samurai starter Problem

Now i have a company vehicle my sammy sits about most of the week and the other night  on my birthday i was at a petrol station getting some motion lotion and the starter jammed not even a click luckily i got a push thank you low range hehehe  its fine now it was rebuilt a year or so ago and has never been under water

 im worried it will do it again my dad says dont bother getting it looked at it just got stuck but i dont want it happening again as i got greasy and had to go home and get cleaned up and was late for my birthday dinns should i get it over hauled ? or do you think it will be fine ?

Right then starter removed and its gone for a rebuild what a nice easy job
