Thankyou very muchly for the pics :D

Look's like either bar might have to be chopped and re-welded :D

Would have thought so with the width of the roof  :(
Does anybody make them for Zukes??

And Yes the bolts look the same on mine    have got stainless dome ones in toolbox but other things take priority
As for strength I have had 2" branches hitting them and they are still as they were fitted. Surely too strong and you bend the roof?? there has to be a compromise  :?:

hairyasswelder thats what i have been thinking the differing width's are going to be a problem,Also trying to follow the roof line..

I havent found a company that actualy make light bars for zuki's..
Perhaps i will try a few fab company's for some ideas..

I've looked at Paddocks, Greenlane 4x4 and Wizard built ones.  They all have to fasten on somehow and the neatest is to bolt through the floor of the rain gutter.

Unfortunatley none of them fit the RRC that I've seen, the gutters are much narrower.

Mines a piece of electrical conduit bent at 90 degrees both ends with four tabs welded on for the lights and four holes drilled and tap'ed for the mounting clamps .The clamps are just bits of 2.5mm stainless drilled and bent in a vice I put a bit of rubber tape around the pipe so when you put the bolts in it grips the gutter cost Zero as all the stuff came out of a skip :D just covered it in black tape as Ididn't have time to paint it two years ago and I put a bit of pipe insulation in the middle where it touches the roof 8)

Guardian Roof Lighting Bar - Fits Range Rover Classic

The guardian roof lighting bar is a low profile, gutter mounted accessory which allows fitment of four spotlights and one antenna just above the window.

The bar is supplied in a 3M black textured finish.

My Disco has round bar that sits in the gutter with 2 bolts to hold it in place.

I'll try & remember to take a better pic tomorrow.

i would suspect that a primative roof-rack type clamp would do the job?

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong
