« on: December 19, 2007, 19:13:44 »
Hi all.. can someone please post how a front diff on a 413 should work in terms a novice can understand   diff is off the vehicle ..am i right in thinking that when i turn the prop flange by hand nothing should happen at the wheels until i lock off the free wheeling hubs then the wheels should turn .. ( they don't) if this is right then how can i tell if its the hubs or diff that's NFG or have i got it all a**e about face   :?

if your ring and pinion gears are turning smoothly the chances are the problem will be at the hub end, what symptoms are you trying to fix.
