Who does, and for how much?

i`m refering to the rally style light pods that sit on the bonnet - i`m thinking they will be ideal as they will be out of the way, above the winch, and look really cool!  8)

cheers

I've got a pod from an escort cosworth rally car to go on mine, fits the bonnet profile really well and takes decent lights, just need to get it fully fitted and wired up, 4 Cibie Turini Apollos + cibie roof lights, now that will turn night into day. Probably wouldn't fit a defender but might go on a disco, keep an eye on ebay, they're not cheap but proper lights aren't.

I saw a couple at Sodbury, cheapest was marked up at £60, I was really tempted but went for a Defender A bar and Wipacs instead...

I think something like the bonnet one but mounted on the roof step up would look suttle and cool and no shadows on the bonnet then!

the QT one is the most popular. Although the one I saw wasnt that good - the lights weren't very secure and were able to flex about a lot and it made the reaching of the latch to open the bonnet a pain.

I wouldnt have one.

Not from Roccia???

Id rather wait cos of the price.. £65 for a disco so defender should be similar and also the service was excellent along with the quality when i got my arches

plenty of others do defender ones but theyve been steep considering the quality

bit more food for thought... there! cheers chaps

good point about the bonnet catch.. i imagine theres a bit of weight there aswell?

love the look tho!

Mentalmosio.. (?- damn those long and not so catchy names!) not so sure on that one pictured, kinda looks like an impreza bonnet scoop the wrong way with some small lights glued in... thanks anyway :D

i take it the usual fixing is drill and bolt/rivet through the bonnet, with wiring travelling along the underside of the bonnet? (yes, there could b a plan forming here)
