Brake Vacuum Pump????
« on: December 27, 2007, 17:03:09 »
I am replacing my Brake Vacuum pump on my disco 300tdi, due to the excessive oil leaking from it. Does anybody know if this is a simple job to do? is it a case of unbolt exchange & bolt on??

Yep, just unbolt the old one, clean the surface of old gasket, put new gasket on and bolt up the new one, reconnect pipe, jobs-a-gooden'.  :D

Fairly straight forward as said, but I think there's a cam on it, make sure it's "off cam" when you fit it; so it bolts together nicely.
