Hi All,

Thinking of buying a 90 8)

Not sure how much yet as may have to sell Discovery and not sure what i'll get for it  :cry: .

Anyway what do you think i could get for between £2000 and £4000

Would like a 300tdi.  Would be looking to buy from an Auction as have herd that the army use BCA in Blackbushe surrey to displose of motors.

Any Advice would be welcome.

Don't really think you'll get a 300Tdi for that price.
If you do it'll certainly live up to the name 'Rover'

Ought to get you a J/K/L 200Tdi.

Would love a V8, but thats why the disco may have to go (running costs)

Hi Colin,

glad to hear that you are wishing to join us 90 owners - much more fun, and importnatly not as much damage bills!

you should be able to pick up a 200tdi from about £3500-£4000 upwards I think they came out on a 'H' plate. I saw up here a decent 90 truck cab on a K plate with only 43k miles on it for £4200.  Think its sold now as its disappeared from the forecourt.

just think 30 mpg  - youll think the fuel guage has broke!

Whoops did I spell it wrong :oops:

Much as I love my Discovery it may have to go, and a cheaper motor sort :cry:

Just test ing the water at moment, as to whats out there.
