door swapping
« on: January 19, 2008, 21:12:30 »
Probably a bit of a daft question but here goes.............

Are the front doors from a 5 door disco1 the same size as the doors off a 3dr?

I've chance of a 5dr for parts  but I could really do with some doors too and mines a 3dr  :?

I suspect that they are. Not 100% sure but looking at a 3 door the space between the B pillar and the rear wheel looks about the same length as on a 5 door.

Pretty sure they are ,given that the Disco 1 was just a rehash of the RRC, (with all the best bits taken off ;)) and it used the 4-door doors.

Hi,

Yes they ARE the same, mines a 3 door & I changed mine for a pair off a 5 door, if you use 300 onto a 200 you will have to change the door tops over as the mirrors are different,  hope this helps,

John.
