Does anyone have experience of this 'event' (best in the country according to their web-site....) and any view on whether it is worth a visit as a punter or even a booking as a trade exhibitor (ruffty tuffty outdoor clothing and kit etc)??? Cheers, Age

I think someone on the other thread has hit the nail on the head..... For me last year there was one stand of interest, KAP Suzuki..... and thus the post about it being a GREN OVAL market is spot on, very little there if you've got a Zuke or anything else from the land of the rising sun!

Yes its a big accessory shop, although the organisers are trying to improve every year, and last year introduced the 'Readers vehicles display' TOR try to bring a cross section of makes to their pages, but unfortunately (if you drive anything but a landrover) the market place is dominated by the green oval and so people selling after market product are heaveyly biased in that direction. Its the power of market forces. Not enough of us drive Suzuki's/toyota'/jeeps etc to make it worth while selling kit at shows.
Form a traders point of view its a reasonable show. I help out with LRS offroad (
http://lrsoffroad.co.uk/
) and usualy have a reasonable show. Yes we mainly sell Equip kit for Landrovers, but can get some suzuki kit and sell a big range of recovery gear, winches and waffle boards at reasonable prices. Depends what your after, but theres usualy something for everyone. Its also a good social event. The first show of the year to catch up with everyone you've not seen for a while.

I'll be going as it's only an hour away. It os a bit of an accessory shop but htere are bargains to be had if you see what you want.
Massive tool stall, loads of fabricators and I got a deal on a winch.
