Hi All
My names Dave (or is that already obvious!) and I am now the proud owner of a '95 Discovery 300 TDi ES after 10 years in waiting for a Landy of my own.
About time having worked on other peoples for far too long!
I followed in my dads footsteps and started my time as a mechanic working with him at Wadhams in Guildford, Slyfield Green when I was 16. I stayed with them when they became Hunters & moved to LadyMead, Guildford until I was 20. (Dad went on to set up Rangers of Guildford, Slyfield Green with two of his work mates from Hunters).
I went from there to a then little known company in Peasmarsh, Godalming called Guava International. Back then it was a little workshop in the back of an old industrial estate that dealt with Landy Export (putting lots of cool toys on and taking naffer stuff off!!) They then took on Rover sales and service and that was my cue to move on.
I now work for a small garage in Aldershot, DBK Auto Repairs, mainly dealing with servicing Taxis, etc...
