4.2 diesel patrol engine.

Debating buying a patrol LWB 4.2D and the guy who is selling it claims it does an unfeasibly high milage to the gallon. anyone have any idea of the true MPG??

also anyone know if it has a LSD rear diff or not?

I think they have an open locking diff
2002 Nissan D22, 2" Suspension Lift, 3" Body lift, 33x12.50x15 MT's plus other bits and peices.

I know some Patrols have a lsd rear diff & some have a locking rear diff via a switch but I don't know the years of these or models :oops: As for the MPG I would guess at 18-23MPG

1988- 0n   GQ coil sprung models have locking diffs which were optional, other than that they are LSD, you can fit an lsd from a d21 terrano rear into the front of the GQ... around 20+ to the gallon
