Grease Gun
« on: February 02, 2008, 12:57:39 »
Hiya

Ive just rebuilt the front prop on my 90 - the bearing in the transfer box end resembled dust...

Just gone to grease it up, and my gun wont fit on the nipple... The end is only just small enough ti git between th yokes.

Does anyone know what size end should be on it?

Its strange... it fits the one on the shaft ok.

They are new BM uj's.

Could you not loosen the grease nipple a couple of turns just to bring it out enough to get the gun on??Probally wont work but just a thought

I had to do that on my niva props..

A bit late now but I find I have to grease my prop with the nipple facing away from me ie upwards, with it facing down I can't get it in there.

Difflock used to sell some extended grease nipples. you just screw them in where the grease nipple goes. Do you greasing then replace the proper one.
If theres a harder way to do it I`ll find it!!
