bulkhead removal bar
« on: February 04, 2008, 13:31:52 »
chaps

i am thinking of removing my bulkhead and fitting one of the bars you see advertised for this job. Has anyone done it and if so how much further back can you push your seat?
i imagine i will need longer seat runners as well.
is this a good idea or not worth the hassle?
i will also be fitting new bucket seats

Datalas has I beleive. Bunnies mums 90 has a factory fitted one.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

The simplest way is to raise the seat on Box section steel which allows the seats to go past the raised lip, on the seat box. I think you gain another 3 or 4 inches.
