some vehicle have a unit that is like a resistor that when on side lights it puts headlights on 30% cant remember what vehicle but i know i ripped then out as they was failty causing the lights to be on full all the time FIAT (Punto, Cinquento) Pugeot (206, 306 I think) Renault and Citroen aswell as they are the same things :doh: :roll:
A) it's illegal
But yes it's possible, you need to wire them parallel/series, that way they will be 12v/6v.

That maybe so. But the Op was asking about Roof lights which are classed as additional spotlamps not sidelamps.
I thought he wanted both (side lights inside the spots)

If you consult the fitting instructions on any RING product it states quite clearly that additional marker lights (sidelights, like the angle eyes) are only legal in Germany, in the UK we are allowed one pair of sidelights and one pair of dipped beams.
