Heater,electrical problem
« on: February 08, 2008, 20:52:51 »
Hi All,

Got an issue with the heater in my 110, the vehicle is a 1985? (c reg) 110 CSW with a 200 tdi retrofitted, it has a 300 tdi/TD5 heater (plastic coolent pipes) all wired correctly (same connections as previous heater box using the original pin black connector 1 pin 2 socket jobby see bellow, wiring is green grey, green purple and green yellow).

The problem is I can't get the motor to run when I turn the fan switch on. there is power to one of the female sockets the end one. I've wired the motor directly and it blows well but wont spin up when connected correctly.

Could the fan switch (vertical selector on left of dash) be knackerd? if so how do I test?

Thanks
