well that was hardly a stern test of it's ability now was it. me and my mav could have done that course in 2x4! where was the deeeeep mud?
Moving railway stock on the flat isn't so hard (once you get it moving, and the right gearing will help there). The problem is stopping! You'd have to fit an air/vacuum brake system depending on what the stock you're working with uses.
I would expect most 4x4s to be able to shift a couple of wagons on the flat. Certainly I remember seeing photos of a Disco with road/rail fittings moving three coaches.
I bet the answer to thier competition was answer A wasn't it? I don't have a tv so don't know. Just an educated guess.
