Free wheeling hubs on a Jimny
« on: February 13, 2008, 15:26:29 »
Does anyone know whether sj free wheeling hubs will fit on a Jimny? I know they go on the vitara but I'm not sure about Jimnys. If anyones got the answer it would be most appreciated.

Steve.

From what I've been told you have to manufacture a spacer to make 'em fit. I've got AVM hubs fitted'cos the vaccum hubs started to be un-reliable! Got them through LRSoffroad - I think they're £165 a set. If your going to Donington show come and see me on the LRS stand or pm me via here.

http://www.project-tinfoil.co.nz/step4.htm looks like you need a 7mm spacer for sj hubs to work, i read somewhere else that 5mm spacer will work.
