poor vehicle choice
« on: February 03, 2005, 15:33:58 »
Hello All :D

Just received my lovely spoof parking tickets in the post you know the ones condemning all 4x4’s aren’t we all nasty people for driving them.   And I was most shocked to find that my discovery according to them does 12 to the gallon   no wonder it costs a fortune to run it :?  But what do I see that my engine size has gone up its now nearly 4 litres   On closer inspection they have forgot to list a diesel then when you look closer still  they have not listed any make of 4x4 diesels its all then nasty petrol engine vehicles that are eating all the planet.  But they do list the smart car and that does 38 mpg but I haven’t noticed many 4x4 smart cars around especially one that can seat 7 and pull a Range Rover out of the mud. When they sell one I will buy it.

I don’t think I will be putting the tickets on any vehicle unless it a BMW car or Mercedes or jag they do less to the gallon than my TDI. But I will wait a month and ask for some more so it cost those prats more to produce this crap.

All the best

Looking through the tube from the other end, if they do ban 4x4's from London then there will be lots of very cheap ones for us to buy and use for what they were built for
Just me looking on the bright side.

 Its already happening in the U.S 4x4s vandalised and Dealerships wrecked along with vehicles.
Its a pity these groups have to resort to hireing " rent a mob ". To guttless to have a go them selfs. I just hope it doesnt start here in the U.K or has it already?..
What is apparent with the U.K campain groups is that they only pick on 4x4s that look std and are obviously never going to be used for what was intended, i.e big posh BMs or Porches and big yank 4x4s, inother words Chelsea Tractors.
But non the less, there is a thing called freedom of choice so if mr x wants to buy a 4ltr v8 4x4, he can and should without been intimidated by these mindless morons.

Rant over.
If in first you dont suceed, try second....
If it aint broke, your not trying ard enough....

Regards MIKE.
